1995

Kvalitena is founded

1996

Forms a joint venture property company with GE Capital and acquires residential apartments in the Greater Stockholm region

2000

Forms a joint venture property company together with Lehman Brothers under the name of Broadgate & Stendörren Fastigheter

2003

Strategic sales, recapitalisation with Hypo Real Estate and Lehman Brothers “buy-out”

2005

Forms a joint venture property company with UBS and acquires residential, retail and industrial properties

2007

Divests retail, residential and industrial properties to Kungsleden

2009

Acquires 750 residential apartments in the Greater Stockholm region

2010

Acquires 1,250 residential apartments in the Greater Stockholm region

2011

Acquires 2,200 residential apartments in the Greater Stockholm region

2012

Acquires 900 residential apartments in the Greater Stockholm region

Divests retail- and residential building rights together with retail properties

Acquires light industrial and logistics properties with a 75,000 sqm leasable area

Divests shares in D. Carnegie & Co (Hembla) to Blackstone. The company owns properties to a value of SEK 18 billion with a leasable area of approx. 1,200,000 sqm

SBB acquires Kuststaden, Gimmel and Sörmlandsporten, and Kvalitena becomes the second largest shareholder

Forms property company Hedvig Eleonora Fastighets AB (Helenora), owning residential and office properties in Stockholm city

Divests shares in D. Carnegie & Co to Blackstone

Acquires light industrial and logistics properties with a 150,000 sqm leasable area

Divests the majority of Sveavalvet properties to NP3. Sveavalvet owned 58 properties valued at SEK 1.7 billion, with a leasable area of 200,000 sqm

Divests 100% of Kvalitena’s shares in Stendörren in November 2018 to EQT Real Estate. Stendörren owned 121 properties valued at SEK 8.5 billion, with a leasable area of 718,000 sqm

Divests shares in Agora to Klövern. Agora owned 21 properties valued at SEK 4.2 billion, with a leasable area of 242.000 sqm

2019

Kvalitena separates the asset management business, forms Broadgate Asset Management

Forms Bostadsporten, a long-term and commitment-driven real estate developer focusing on affordable housing. The project portfolio currently consists of approx. 500 apartments

Acquires light industrial and logistics properties with a 50,000 sqm leasable area

Divests 100% of Kvalitena’s shares in Admiral Capital A/S to Castlelake

Initiates cooperation with EQT Real Estate, forms Svenska Verksamhetsfastigheter, a real estate company that owns and manages a portfolio of warehouse / urban logistic properties

Initiates cooperation with Ragde Eiendom, acquiring long-lease properties in Sweden and Norway

Initiates cooperation with Carnegie Investment Bank, forms Mälardalens Omsorgsfastigheter. The company manages a portfolio of social infrastructure properties in the Mälardalen area, currently owns 68 properties with a leasable area of 75,700 sqm
